For movies only
Our policy is to support the MPAA ratings system. Here’s what that means.
For films rated “R” by the MPAA:
- The Beverly Theater will not sell tickets to any person under the age of 17 (18 where applicable).
- A person must be at least 21 years old in order to purchase multiple tickets without providing additional photo I.D. for additional tickets.
- The purchaser must also attend the movie for which the additional tickets are purchased.
- Patrons 17 to 20 years of age may only purchase more than one ticket if they are able to provide photo I.D. for proof of age for each additional ticket being purchased.
- Children under the age of 6 years old will not be admitted.
- Managers may empower Ushers to check for photo identification if a guest appears to be underage and is holding a ticket for an “R” rated feature.
- Tickets can be purchased online, or an individual may purchase tickets directly from the box office. It is important to remember that the admittance procedures still apply to those individuals that make purchases.
Venue employees may be stationed at the entrance to the theater when playing MPAA rated “R” films to check tickets and photo identification for all who enter to prevent minors from improperly entering.
The Beverly Theater reserves the right to refuse entrance to anyone that cannot present valid photo identification along with a ticket for the proper show time of the “R” rated film.
SECURITY
When necessary The Beverly Theater will implemented metal detectors to enhance the safety and enjoyment of everyone. So, please give yourself ample time. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the time written on your tickets for both movies and concerts.
The metal detectors are at all entrance points. And the process is similar to what you’re used to at major stadiums and arenas. Before passing through the detectors, all bags, hats, cell phones, cameras, tablets, computers and any large metal items need to be removed and shown to the attendants. Belts, coins, keys and wallets on the other hand, can stay on your person or in your pockets.
SMOKING
The Beverly Theater does not permit indoor smoking. NRS 202.2483 makes it a misdemeanor in Nevada to smoke in many indoor public spaces, including non-gaming areas of casinos. Smoking now includes not only traditional cigarettes and cigars but also e-cigarettes and vaping. The punishment for smoking in non-smoking areas includes up to six months in jail and/or up to $1,000.
